Woah, finally! My visit to South Korea with le boyfriend is now up on my Youtube channel. I know, it took almost a year for me to create & finish this project but trust me, even though this is only a 2-minute video, I had a hard time finishing it. We didn't take a lot of clips during the trip because we were already carrying a lot of gadgets with us. Almost all the clips used for this video were downloaded from my Instagram Stories archived or clips that didn't make it to the gram. I've also incorporated a few photos from our trip.
Please don't forget to subscribe on my Youtube channel and also, give this video a thumbs-up if you think that somehow, you find it like-able. *hehe* Also, I will be posting lookbook videos on my Youtube channel soon. So, if you want to get notified, just click the bell button so you won't miss any updates everytime I post a new video on my channel.
PS. I still a newbie when it comes to editing videos using FCPX but I'm working on it.
First of all, what is Eid Al Fitr? Eid Al Fitr means the celebration of breaking the fast that marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan. Millions of Muslims around the globe gather with their family and relatives for a feast and gift giving. For us, non-Muslims who are working in GCC countries, Eid Al Fitr means looking forward for some days off from work. This will give us the opportunity to have quality time with our family, friends and loved ones like what our Muslim brothers and sisters do. I usually jet off every Eid holiday break but this year, it wasn’t the best choice to do so. (hello, priorities!) This time, I spent it with my family, friends and loved ones here in Doha. I had a long break so as my parents too so we decided to plan a couple of activities to do and one of them was a staycation. For our family’s staycation, we chose the VIP Hotel Doha . VIP Hotel recently opened to the public this year approximately 3 months ago. You can find the hotel in Umm Ghuwailina area w...
Winter is officially over and summer has finally landed back in Doha! As the temperatures continue to rise, it is also the perfect time for a refreshing dip in an icy-cold pool, isn't? Time to take out those trendy sunnies, pull out your cutest dress, wear those slouchy trousers and seize the day. Don't forget to put on some sunscreen! Getting ready for summer is much easier than getting ready for winter. It's effortless, light and affordable too. But, staying cool and looking cool in this hot and humid AF weather is not easy! That is the reason why a lot of people stick to light-colored clothes because they tend to absorb the heat less. Despite the heat that we’re currently experiencing here in the sandpit, and although white/pastels are the preferable colors this season, wearing clothes that are brimming with colors under the sun’s scorching heat is also becoming a thing now. Bright colors can actually be worn year round. You just have to figure out how to balance th em p...
Every year, I always look forward to celebrating the holy month of Ramadan in Doha. What excites me the most is the great number of stunning Ramadan Tent pop-ups – that is traditionally found in many Muslim countries! During this time, Doha’s dining scene is always all out to give you the best of your Ramadan experience. A few weeks ago, I got the privilege to attend Ramadan Ghabga in Al Zomorod Ramadan Tent at St. Regis. What is Ramadan Ghabga? It happens between Iftar and Suhoor, around 8:30 PM till 10-ish in the evening. The Al Zomorod Tent is located on the ground floor of the hotel. Disclaimer: Although I was invited by The St. Regis Doha Hotel, this write-up is meant to be an honest review of my experience. I was not asked by the hotel’s management to post about this and there’s no intention of bragging. All thoughts and opinions are my own. The tent is overwhelmingly large. As you step in, you will be welcomed by the elegant setting of the tent with sparkling la...
