Travel Outfits Recap: TAIWAN 2018

Before I travel from one place to another, I always make sure to research and check the weather beforehand. This will allow me to save time on packing and also, knowing what to pack means you'll be able to save more space for other stuff that you might want to bring along your trip.

Months before our Taiwan trip, I've contacted my cousin (who's currently residing in Taiwan) to ask her bits and pieces about the country. For the weather, she told me that it can get as hot and humid like in Manila. I followed all my cousin's tips when visiting Taiwan. So, I've brought with me lightweight & breathable clothing pieces only.

Take a look at all the pieces that I've donned from our Taiwan trip last May 2018.

DAY 1 - ARRIVAL IN TAIPEI
Choosing comfort over style on the first day, that is what I am every time I travel to another city or country. I always prefer to wear something very comfortable at the airport and during the flight. (I don't mind wearing PJs!) What can be more satisfying when you're wearing an oversized shirt, right? I borrowed my boyfriend's plain white tee and paired it with colour-blocking palazzo pants to add some boldness to the whole fit. Put up everything together by wearing my all-time favourite white sneaks from Nike.

DAY 2 - PARK DAY AND MORE OF TAIPEI
Another white number in Taiwan! With the city's hot and humid weather, all I can think of is to wear a lot of whites during the entire visit!

DAY 3 - WENT HIKING
Tiring yet probably my favourite activity that we did in Taiwan. Of course, no need for a fancy #OOTD because eventually, you'll sweat a lot and when I say a lot, I mean it! And yes, white tee to the rescue again ;)

DAY 4 - SOMETHING OLD
Our fourth day in Taipei was also our departure going back to Manila. Our flight was scheduled on the same day but at the evening so to maximize the time left, we've decided to visit a tourist spot near our hotel in the morning and we took a group tour via Klook.com in the afternoon. Also, the time left for us that day was pretty much enough to buy last minute souvenirs and travel for an hour going to the airport. In fact, we were an hour early for the check-in!

Out of all the outfits that I wore, which one is your favourite? Let me know on the comments section below! Also, advise me if you want me to post a separate blog entry regarding our Taiwan itinerary.
